Morris ITAL 575 Pick Up

For the preceding six to eight years, I was looking around for a vehicle restoration project to undertake and still remembering the old BL part numbers for fast moving parts from the early 1980's with enthusiasm, I soon put aside the notion of a Mini Van or Pick Up and concentrated my search on Marina vans and Pick Ups. Until, in January 2024 I bought a 1984 Ital 575 Pick Up to restore and went about the task of sourcing repair panels and useful spare parts to help with the restoration.
To my utter astonishment I realised that there was not one place that offered a range of parts specifically tailored to the requirements of Marina / Ital owners.
After some lucky finds buying bulk examples of hard to find NOS parts and panels, I thought I would engage with this problem to help out fellow enthusiasts.
There are some very helpful and knowledgable people out there that know really know their stuff and are willing to help with spares and advice, which is fantastic and they should be applauded. Icould mention names, but there's no need as you only have to visit one of the Marina Fan pages on Facebook to see for yourself.
The greatest fans, needless to say, are those running the Marina Owners Club / Ital Register, who both organise and attend car meets and shows, sell a range of superb replacement spares, they have a website which contains huge amounts of information and they willingly help anyone with a love of these cars. If you are not a member, then I urge you to join.
